Trains to UP from Reading
What is the best route to go? May go to the game after work, but not sure if I'll make it in time.

National Rail is being a cunt atm.

I'm in Tadley, so have access to Reading or Basingstoke... which would be quicker?

Penners?

I live in Reading, straight into Paddington is by far the quickest way, walk to Lancaster gate (5 minutes) , on the central line to Mile End, change there.

Re: Trains to UP from Reading

That's the way I go.

Hammersmith and City Line takes ages.

Going tonight, Penners?

Re: Trains to UP from Reading
an even quicker option might be to walk from Paddington to Lancaster Gate and take a central line train to Mile End then change to a district line train to Upton Park

door to door for me to the stanley is 2 hrs on average. thats including my bus wanker journey from my house into town. 1730 train then you should be fine i'd have thought.

night games are a right pain for me as i work in bracknell so am on the slow train back, then walk back to my office and drive home.

For Lukaku's last minute winner? yes plenty of time Bobby Son.

Hammersmith is a great line from Padd - Just gotta hope you aint waiting too long for it. Get off the train and head back the way it came in and up the stairs.

Re: Trains to UP from Reading
Reading mate. Trains to paddington every 10 mins or so. like joey said, take about 30 mins to 45 mins. Then straight on hammersmith and city line.

Re: Trains to UP from Reading
Reading is only about 20-30 minutes from Paddington.
